Terminka Ecosystem
Complete Beauty CRM Ecosystem: From Brand Identity to Scalable Design System & Multi-Platform Apps (B2B, B2C & Web)

Project:
Terminka — Beauty Salon Management & Booking Ecosystem (B2B SaaS & B2C Marketplace)
Market & Scalability:
Live in Poland | Expanding to Slovakia & Ukraine (Multi-Market, Multi-Language)
Core Focus:
End-to-End Salon Automation, Multi-Role Access (RBAC), High-Density Data UI & Map-First B2C Discovery
My Contribution
Lead Product & Brand Designer
As Lead Product & Brand Designer, I owned the product end-to-end—from initial architecture to developer handoff. I designed high-density B2B SaaS schedule workflows, a map-first B2C discovery experience, and a unified design system with dev specs across two mobile apps, a web platform, and brand identity.
Team:
Dev Team (2 developers), PM, Product Lead, (Myself) Lead Product & Brand Designer (End-to-End)

Strategic Focus:
Terminka connects salon management with client booking into a unified ecosystem. By putting B2B SaaS automation at the core, we ensure zero schedule overlaps and real-time data across all platforms.
The Core Problem:
Beauty Tech Bottleneck
Traditional booking platforms act as passive directories rather than operational engines. Salons face three critical operational hurdles:
Fragmented Tools: Paper books, Excel sheets, and disconnected apps fragment daily workflows.
Revenue Leakage: Rigid scheduling creates costly slot gaps and unmitigated no-shows.
Permission Risks: "All-or-nothing" access exposes sensitive financials to general staff.

Built B2B Before B2C
You can’t fix B2C booking without fixing salon operations first; Terminka B2B OS feeds real-time schedule accuracy directly into the B2C marketplace.

UX Strategy & Multi-Role Architecture (RBAC)
To address the diverse needs of salon staff, I designed a tailored Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) framework.

B2B Precision. B2C Simplicity.
Brand Concept:Derived from "Termin" (booking slot / appointment). The identity balances corporate B2B reliability for salon owners with an inviting, modern aesthetic for B2C clients.

Logo Design & Symbol Anatomy
Symbol Geometry:
An italicized, dynamic 't' mark built on a precise geometric grid with calculated circle proportions. It merges the metaphors of a stylized appointment checkmark, fluid beauty aesthetics, and forward movement.

Scalability & Grid System:
Engineered within a squircle container to guarantee pixel-perfect legibility across all touchpoints — from 16px browser favicon and mobile app icons to large-format salon decals.

Adaptive Versatility
High-contrast color pairing (vibrant lime & deep charcoal) ensures smooth integration into both dark-mode SaaS dashboards and bright B2C promotional displays.

Design System Architecture
The Scaling Challenge:
Building two cross-platform mobile apps (B2B SaaS & B2C Discovery) and a 10+ page web platform simultaneously required a single source of truth to eliminate design debt and speed up dev handoff.

Tier 1: Primitives. Core UI foundation: semantic tokens, scalable typography, grids, spital/corner/gap systems.
Tier 2: Composites. CAdvanced UI patterns: interactive schedules, user and services lists, mamagment tools, map controls, and action drawers.
Production-Ready Engineering Specs
Comprehensive technical docs, layout formulas, and code specs for Flutter and CSS—eliminating guesswork so engineers can build pixel-perfect UI autonomously without design back-and-forth.

& Operational Value
Information
Density Ratio
Increased schedule viewport density by *~40%, allowing salon admins to view up to 8 staff schedules simultaneously without horizontal scrolling.
* — Schedule density gains are optimized for standard desktop/tablet viewports; mobile views utilize adaptive micro-grid patterns for touch readability.
Cross-Platform
Token Alignment
Unified UI foundation across Web CRM and dual mobile apps using semantic design tokens—enabling platform-specific visual tuning (e.g., contrast & touch-target adjustments) without breaking system consistency.
Development
Handoff Precision
Minimized design-to-code friction during sprint dev execution due to fully specified UI states, edge cases, and token-to-code mappings.
Szybkie przenoszenie i zmiana wizyt
Multi-Market Readiness
Built scalable layout templates supporting dynamic text expansion for 3 languages (PL, UA, EN) and multi-currency formats from day one.

Staff View
Adapts to day, week, and month layouts alongside timeline or list formats—giving specialists a clean, focused view of their personal schedule and appointments.

Owner & Admin View
Combines location switching, multi-view schedules, and individual staff filters with macro operational metrics like total booking counts and projected revenue.

Map-First B2C Discovery
A standalone client app built around an interactive map, enabling users to discover nearby salons and book open slots in under 4 taps.

Marketing Web Platform: System Extension
- Ecosystem Consistency: Shares core product design tokens while adapting layout foundations specifically for desktop web consumption.
- Split Foundations: Dedicated typography and grids tailored separately for high-density app interfaces versus marketing web pages.
- Conversion UI: Interactive component previews and real product mockups drive B2B onboarding and B2C app downloads without stock photos.
- Responsive Architecture: Modular layout blocks engineered for rapid assembly and seamless scaling across all viewports.

Key Reflections
& System Takeaways
In dual-ecosystem products, the B2C marketplace experience is only as good as the daily B2B operational compliance. UX must focus on making the salon admin‘s workflow effortless, because clean calendar data is what actually powers B2C conversion.
Constraint-Driven Scalability:
Designing for high-density, peak-hour desktop dashboards and constrained mobile viewports simultaneously forced us to strictly decouple UI tokens from display logic, enabling seamless multi-platform deployment without component bloat.
